General Information
Positive antibody screens are investigated locally in Blood Bank. Turnaround time 24 hours.
Some samples may need referring to NHSBT for further investigation. Turnaround time 7-10 days.
Please ensure when additional samples are requested for antibody investigation they are sent to Blood Bank as soon as possible in order to allow any blood products to be available without unneccesary delay
